Definition of Conductive Material

The European IEC 61340-5-1 standard:
> 1 x 102ohms and < 1 x 105ohms.

The US standard ANSI/ESD S20.20:
< 1 x 104ohms.

The conductivity is measured in Surface Resistance & Resistivity. An electrostatic conductive material will allocate the charge evenly on the surface of the material.
Definition of Dissipative Material

The European IEC 61340-5-1 standard:
>1 x 105 ohms and < 1 x 1011ohms.

The US standard ANSI/ESD S20.20:
> 1 x 104ohms and < 1 x 1011ohms.

The dissipative property is measured in Surface Resistance & Resistivity. An electrostatic dissipative material will ground electrostatic charges in predictable, controlled manner.
