Premix and Panipol enter into co-operation
Premix Oy a leader of electrically conductive plastics compound business and Panipol Oy, the Finnish producer of electrically conductive Polyaniline polymer have reached an agreement on future co-operation.
Premix will start to market Panipol’s melt processable products worldwide to plastics processing industry. In addition to offering Panipol DX "masterbatch" Premix will use Panipol CX also as an ingredient when making custom tailored conductive compounds.
Panipol is an excellent fit to Premix current product portfolio as it enables customers to manufacture non-black end products cost effectively within the proper 106-109W surface resistance range; a desired feature in ESD control within electronics industry.
At the same time Panipol is getting a committed worldwide sales network for its unique patented products.
The parties have also agreed on joint development work to ensure future development of conductive plastics. In order to further strengthen the co-operation Premix has also become a shareholder in Panipol by acquiring 5% of the share capital.
